Privacy Policy

Readfully for iPhone. Effective October 18, 2026. Developed by Maria Rachel under the name Finding Nami.

Your library stays on your iPhone

Your books, notes, ratings, reading progress, goals and settings are stored only on your iPhone. Readfully has no accounts and no servers, so the developer cannot see or access any of it.

Book lookups

When you search for a book or scan a barcode, the text you searched for or the ISBN is sent to Open Library, along with cover identifiers and standard connection data such as your IP address. Nothing is sent when the app launches or in the background. Requests include a short app identifier with a contact email, which does not identify you.

Camera

The camera is used only to read barcodes while the scanner is open. Images are processed on your device and are never saved or sent. You can turn off camera access any time in iPhone Settings.

Photos

If you choose a photo as a book cover, Readfully receives only that one photo, resizes it, and saves it with that book.

Backups and exports

Backup and export files are created on your device and go only where you choose to save or share them. Apple may include app data in iPhone device backups under Apple's own terms.

No ads, tracking or analytics

Readfully contains no advertising, no tracking and no analytics.

Children

Readfully is not directed at children and does not collect personal information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Settings › Delete all my data erases everything in the app, and deleting the app removes its data from your device. Deleted data cannot be recovered, so back up first if you want to keep it.

Changes to this policy

If a change affects your privacy, this page will be updated with a new date and the change will be described in the release notes.
